You're in Las Vegas, one of my favorite places to go! Love the Beatles videos - I've been a Beatle fan for (OMG!) 45 years!
I see your Baby Boomer Diva logo too! Woohoo to us Divas!

Hey, Pop Art Diva...my new friend!

Yep, I have lived in Las Vegas for the past 5 years, with my musician-husband, Nelson. However, I am back home in Minnesota right now, taking care of my mom, who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...

It seems we do have a bunch in common, don't we? Besides liking Vegas, we are both Boomers, and not only that, but Baby Boomer Divas, too!! And it seems that we have both been "forever" Beatles fans, too! Cooooool.

Thanks for writing, and for our new friendship, Terri!!

With Love and Hope,

Joanie

I hope your mother is doing better and that you are surviving the Minnesota weather. I posted a message to you on another post you made about the situation with your folks.
When you get a chance stop by my new blog The Road to Diva-Visit DIVAville!, it's right up your alley! Diva Booming Dish, lol. It's new but it's going to be fun - especially if other Diva's get into the spirit.

Hey, Girlfriend...yes, my mom is actually doing quite well and smiling a lot since I have been here! And about the Minnesota, weather, yep - I am surviving quite
well, thank you! Actually, I am a winter-kinda-girl, PLUS, it has been exceptionally mild here the past few days! To be honest with you, I am hoping for a good old-fashioned Minnesota-style blizzard before the winter is over! I guess
that is risidual from all the unbearably-hot Vegas summers I have
survived during the past 5 years!!

Uhhhhh, I must admit I do not even know where you live, but am ever-so-curious!!!!!!!!

I live near Sedona, Arizona so I know all about Hot Summers! It gets up to 110 here starting after May - ugh.
The winters are mild compared to the snow belt though.
However, once your blood thins out thanks to the summer heat the winters here seem quite cold, lol.

Sedonna, eh? What a GORGEOUS place
to live! In fact, I have been there with my husband after we first met, and it blew me away! I especially enjoyed your area, plus the Flagstaff, Arizona, area. And
I hear ya about the heat in Sedonna
during the long summers. But then
the rest of the year is amazingly pleasant, like in Vegas. I can understand why people divide their time to living in two locations for
half the year...what do they call them again, "Snow geese", or something like that??

So now I now you are actually my neighbor, when I am home in Nevada with my husband, aren't you? Gosh, it seems we have more in common all the time!!!

Your Diva Friend.
